We are excited to work with some pretty amazing nonprofit organizations here at Raising Help. Apart from supporting their efforts creatively, we also work to further their mission. Because of this, we support Rare Disease Day today, and raise awareness to the Fore Hadley Foundation. This organization raises awareness and funds for people affected by and academic research for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, or CDH.

CDH is a rare disease or birth defect where the diaphragm is not fully developed in the womb, leaving a hole in the chest that allows the components in the abdomen to enter the chest cavity and prevent the growth of the lungs. You can learn more about CDH on Fore Hadley’s page.

Pictured above, Fore Hadley was created in honor of Hadley Kate Bush, a little girl who lived six days fighting against CDH. The Foundation works to fundraise through events such as Tee Up the Taps Fore Hadley on March 4, and the Golf Classic Fore Hadley in May. Learn about each event and register to support the cause and impact people affected by CDH. If you can’t attend, you can also make a donation here.
